There are many legacy illuminated pedestrian crossing posts using a steel post with profiled holes to create the illuminated white bands. These lights often use old technology and are very difficult to maintain.
This pedestrian crossing LED post is a variant of our crossafe retro that fits any of these legacy posts. The upgrade takes less than 30 minutes and requires no groundwork or electrical disconnection. Check the video out on the video tab to see how quickly the upgrade can be done.

Our belisha beacon LED crossing post quickly upgrades a legacy profiled construction illuminated Belisha beacon post, into a new, high specification illuminated post in less than 30 minutes. Requiring no groundworks or re-cabling the downtime to the crossing is kept to a minimum.
The crossafe converter offers adjustable daytime lighting, making the crossing visible to drivers even in bright sunlight, and at night it automatically dims.
